Trinity Church Episcopal Church (currently under construction doucment phase)
Parish Hall Addition
Watertown, NY
Mr. Michael Aubertine, R.A. is serving as Project Architect for the new Parish Hall addition to the existing Trinity Episcopal Church. The project is currently being designed and is in the construction document phase. The proposed design consists of a new 11,000 s.f. building directly attached to the existing historic structure in downtown Watertown. During the preliminary phase of the project, Mr. Aubertine worked closely with the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) to meet the NYS requirements and to preserve the character of the adjacent historic building. The new building will utilize green building principles including a super insulated building envelope using sprayed closed cell polyurethane foam for energy efficiency, durable and low maintenance materials, and prefabricated structural components to save labor costs and minimize construction waste. In addition, the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems will be designed for improved human comfort and efficient operating costs. The project is due to be completed in September 2009.
