Mr. Jones brings a strong design background with him from his previous experiences. He has twelve years of experience in the architectural field. Prior to joining the firm, Brian returned to the North Country and was employed at Grater Architects, where he worked on various residential and commercial projects. He also worked at SBL Architects in Arlington, Texas specializing in healthcare and commercial projects. Past healthcare projects include River Hospital in Alexandria Bay, as well as projects in Texas including Navarro Regional Hospital, Dallas Southwest Hospital, St. Elizabeth Medical Center and LaPointe Medical Center.
However, Brian’s main focus has been residential design ranging from a small cottage retreat along the river to residential estates. Brian is also a strong proponent of green design and strives to include sustainable solutions to every project without sacrifice to budget or aesthetics. Brian is currently working on several exclusive residential projects along Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River, notable projects underway are a (3) story entertainment pavilion on Nobby Island, a cottage retreat on Grindstone Island, and the restoration/renovation of an historic Arts and Crafts style cottage along the shore of Henderson Harbor.
Brian also believes in the value of educating future architects and he contributes time to local high school and college students who seek guidance about future careers in architecture.
