Design Experience:
Mr. Aubertine has eighteen years of experience in the architectural field. He has a diverse background in the field of architecture with federal, municipal, healthcare, education, commercial, religious and residential structures. He also is in charge of our parent company, Concept Structures, which is an Architect led Design/Build construction company. Mr. Currier has 20 years of experience in the architectural field working for small & large companies. Before joining the firm, he spent 9 years specializing in the design and management of educational facilities ranging from $1 million to $22 million addition and renovation projects. Mr. Currier oversees his projects from Preliminary Planning to Construction Management and has been responsible for the successful construction of numerous commercial projects every year, ranging from Childcare Centers, Healthcare and Municipal Facilities to Religious, Historical, Retail and Banking Facilities. Design Experience:
Mr. Jones brings a strong design background with him from his previous experiences. He has twelve years of experience in the architectural field. Prior to joining the firm, Brian returned to the North Country and was employed at Grater Architects, where he worked on various residential and commercial projects. He also worked at SBL Architects in Arlington, Texas specializing in healthcare and commercial projects. Past healthcare projects include River Hospital in Alexandria Bay, as well as projects in Texas including Navarro Regional Hospital, Dallas Southwest Hospital, St. Elizabeth Medical Center and LaPointe Medical Center.
However, Brian’s main focus has been residential design ranging from a small cottage retreat along the river to residential estates. Brian is also a strong proponent of green design and strives to include sustainable solutions to every project without sacrifice to budget or aesthetics. Brian is currently working on several exclusive residential projects along Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River, notable projects underway are a (3) story entertainment pavilion on Nobby Island, a cottage retreat on Grindstone Island, and the restoration/renovation of an historic Arts and Crafts style cottage along the shore of Henderson Harbor.
Brian also believes in the value of educating future architects and he contributes time to local high school and college students who seek guidance about future careers in architecture. He also teaches a class on Green Building at Jefferson Community College.

Mr. Jones is in charge of Aubertine and Currier’s Surveying Department. He is responsible for building and maintaining client relationships with various local government agencies, developers, contractors and residential clients. He is also responsible for day to day management of all surveying operations including boundary, topographic, utility, construction layout and ALTA/ACSM survey projects. He regularly performs deed, map and title research, traverse adjustments, surveying calculations, drafting of maps, writing of legal descriptions, and the building of design surfaces for use in construction layout and machine control operations. He is responsible for maintaining and upgrading the surveying department equipment as technology progresses and new technology is introduced. Mr. Jones has served as a surveying department manager, a project manager, survey technician, crew chief, instrument and rodman for other surveying firms and contractors. He has also taught fundamental surveying theory, surveying procedures, equipment operation, practical applications of surveying, AutoCAD and Eagle Point at Purdue University. He has completed post-graduate work in GIS, GPS, Data Adjustment, Satellite Geodesy and Photogrammetry. Mr. Jones’ extensive surveying expertise includes:
