Design Experience:

Mr. Jones brings a strong design background with fifteen years of experience in the architectural field. Prior to joining the firm, Brian returned to the North Country and was employed at Grater Architects, where he worked on various residential and commercial projects.  He also worked at SBL Architects in Arlington, Texas specializing in healthcare and commercial projects. Past healthcare projects include River Hospital in Alexandria Bay, as well as projects in Texas including Navarro Regional Hospital, Dallas Southwest Hospital, St. Elizabeth Medical Center and LaPointe Medical Center.

However, Brian’s main focus has been residential design ranging from a small cottage retreat along the river to residential estates. He likes to be thought of as the "client's architect" with careful listening and involvement with the client from the very beginning of the design process. Design decisions are not dictated to the client; rather they are made on behalf of the client.  Brian is also a strong proponent of green design and strives to include sustainable solutions to every project without sacrifice to budget or aesthetics. Brian is currently working on several exclusive residential projects along Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River, notable projects underway are a (3) story cape cod style residence on Montario Point located on Lake Ontario, an extended family cottage "heirloom" retreat on the St. Lawrence river, and a "Leed For Homes" certified house in Clayton, NY. He is also coordinating the LEED certification process on the Land Port of Entry Border Crossing Station located in Mooers, NY.  This building will be the first LEED silver certified border crossing station on the U.S. border.
