Aubertine and Currier Welcomes a New Engineer in Training

WATERTOWN, NY November 8th, 2021 Aubertine and Currier (A&C) has welcomed a Henderson, NY native to our Structural Design Team. Laurence Fedorko graduated from Sackets Harbor Central School, where she held numerous honors including the Principal Legacy Award, NYS Scholar Varsity Athlete, and High Honor Roll from 2013-2017. Since then, Ms. Fedorko obtained a Bachelor's of Applied Science degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. During her time at Queen’s, she participated in intramural indoor and outdoor soccer and dodgeball, joined the Queen’s Gymnastics Club, and volunteered her time towards the Queen’s Engineering Society, Women in Science and Engineering, and Engineers Without Borders, and Oxfam. Her career interests include structural engineering projects such as bridges, façade, rehabilitation and historic restoration, new construction, and architectural engineering.
Founded 21 years ago as an Architecture Firm, Aubertine and Currier Architects, Engineers & Land Surveyors, PLLC has grown into a multi-discipline design firm employing a full-time staff of 34 people. In 2013, A&C was certified as a Women Business Enterprise (WBE) by the New York State Department of Economic Development and certified as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) by the New York State Department of Transportation.
