Aubertine and Currier is excited to announce the addition of five new team members!

We are happy to welcome Julian Meares to our Land Surveying Department as a Survey Technician. Julian hails from Bel Air, Maryland, and has lived in North Carolina, Florida, and Virginia before settling in Watertown, NY. He holds a degree in Geography from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He has previously worked as an electrician in both North Carolina and Florida and served as a Gym Manager in Virginia. Julian and his wife share their home with two German Shepherd mix dogs. Julian also played defensive line for the Army Football Team while attending West Point. In his free time, he enjoys visiting national parks and working out.
We are pleased to announce the addition of Shyanne Jones to our Engineering Department as a Civil/Site Engineering Technician. Shyanne grew up in Vinemont, Alabama, and currently resides in Watertown, NY. She holds an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Engineering Technology, which she pursued through the Fast Track program at her local community college while still in high school. Demonstrating remarkable commitment, Shyanne began her college education at just 16 years old. In 2020, Shyanne married her high school sweetheart, who serves in the U.S. Army. The couple returned stateside after spending the last 2 years in Germany. Shyanne is eager to dive into her career in engineering with Aubertine and Currier and we look forward to seeing her develop in her new role.
We are thrilled to announce the addition of Dave Cushing to our Structural Engineering Department. Dave resides in Lowville, NY, and will be graduating this Spring from SUNY Polytechnic Institute with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, specializing in Structural Concentration. Dave worked as a carpenter with Cedarcrest Construction, focusing on residential construction projects where he developed an interest in structural systems. His new interest has inspired Dave to return to pursue his engineering career. Dave and his wife, Lizzie, have a son named Sebastian and an Australian Shepherd. Dave enjoys playing guitar, woodworking, and spending time outdoors. His hobbies include hiking, skiing, and ice fishing.
We are excited to welcome the addition of Kaela Mellowship as our new Proposal Coordinator. Kaela resides in Clayton, NY. She holds an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Business Administration from Jefferson Community College and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Administration from SUNY Potsdam. Kaela is an avid outdoor enthusiast. She enjoys kayaking, fishing, boating, and spending time on the river.
We are happy to welcome Samuel Ireland to our Land Surveying Department as a Survey Technician. Originally from Salisbury, MD, Sam recently moved to LaFargeville. He holds a bachelor's degree in Geography and Environmental Planning from Towson University. Sam has experience as an engineering technician at Hillis-Carnes and as a stormwater inspector and deputy director of field operations for the City of Salisbury. He enjoys spending time on the river and is excited about new opportunities here!
